Pitch your book to High Frequency! We are open to pitches for just one week: January 26-February 2. It's free to pitch and we are actively seeking authors for our upcoming 2027-2028 catalogues.
HIGH FREQUENCY is a hybrid press. We work in a cooperative way with our writers. If you're not familiar with the hybrid structure, please have a look at other hybrid presses for context. There is a flat fee (a payment to High Frequency) involved--we are not traditional publishers. We are a small hybrid. This structure is what we came up with, so that we can publish books we love. Our cost is below market. But again, please bear this in mind if you do decide to pitch us. We are looking for serious inquiries and pitches only.
Our mission is to publish innovative, interesting books. Books that are overlooked by gatekeeping traditional publishers. Writers can order their own books at cost (wholesale with no markup) from IngramSpark, which has great distribution in the US and abroad. And writers own those books outright.
